This is what you get. Every figure with its denominator.
A complete report, rendered exactly as yours would be. The data below is illustrative — a composite two-location imaging center — because we publish nothing from real practices without written permission. Yours is computed from your own closed cases, usually within one business day.
Realization on closed cases
Open lien book, valued at the real rate
Present value discounts expected collections over the remaining time to resolution and nets estimated tracking labor. The 12% rate is an input — in the product it's visible and yours to change, and the number moves with it.
Realization by referring firm
| Firm | Cases | Billed | Collected | Realization | Avg months | Avg reduction | Share of open book |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Firm A | 61 | $171,200 | $99,500 | 58.1% | 13.2 | 28.4% | 22% |
| Firm B | 48 | $139,800 | $69,100 | 49.4% | 16.8 | 36.0% | 19% |
| Firm C | 44 | $132,600 | $49,100 | 37.0% | 26.1 | 49.2% | 34% |
| Firm D | 37 | $98,400 | $44,300 | 45.0% | 18.9 | 39.7% | 14% |
| Firm E | 24 | $56,300 | $20,400 | 36.2% | 22.4 | 47.5% | 11% |
A 21.9-point spread between the best and worst referral relationship — on the same case types, in the same county. Firm C also holds 34% of the open book, flagged for concentration: above 30%, one firm's negotiating posture sets the practice's quarter. Realization varies more by referring firm than by anything else in this report.
Open book by case age — not invoice date
A 14-month auto case is on schedule; standard AR aging would call it delinquent. The flag sits on the $55,200 past 24 months — in this illustration, six of those eleven cases had simply stopped being tracked. Flagged means "deserves a phone call," not "write it off."
Medicare conditional lien exposure
Where a patient is a Medicare beneficiary, Medicare's conditional payment right resolves ahead of everyone at settlement — including the practice. These nine cases are flagged so the exposure is handled before it becomes a surprise deduction. In the product, each links to its case detail.
Peer benchmark
The peer sample for independent imaging at this size is currently under ten practices, so this section shows nothing rather than a misleading figure. When the sample crosses ten, the comparison appears — with n shown.
This is what the product does everywhere: under 30 closed cases your own rate is flagged directional; under a peer sample of 10, the benchmark abstains. If a section of your report is blank, that's the report working.
Every number above took one export to compute. No integration project, no IT ticket — a closed-case CSV from your practice management system, mapped in the browser, with a Business Associate Agreement executed before a single row uploads.
The illustration ends here. Your numbers are real.
